i was shocked, to say the least, when staff treated me like any other guest instead of the royal treatment i deserved. i mean, there was this hilarious struggle with the electronic door codes, and heaven forbid anyone offer me a complimentary drink for my troubles. you expect a suite, but they shove you in a closet instead!

I struggled with the heavy luggage due to the convoluted layout of the guesthouse, and moving through multiple corridors to reach my room was a hassle. Noise echoed throughout the place, making it hard to rest when other guests used the shared bathroom. On top of that, the shared kitchen, while offering snacks and coffee, felt cramped and uninviting during my short stay.

nice stay but not without issues

The room size impressed me and kept a warm atmosphere. The TV was quite large, providing entertainment during my stay. I loved the ample kitchen and bathroom facilities, making it convenient. The garden view outside my window was lovely and added a pleasant touch to my mornings.

The Bank Guesthouse By Kef Airport provided a clean room with a cozy atmosphere, helping me feel at ease during my overnight stay before an early flight. The shared kitchen offered coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. Additionally, despite being slightly distant from the town, the affordability for Iceland made it a reasonable choice for a work-related trip.

The location is excellent, just a short drive from the airport, making it very convenient. The spacious rooms offered comfort, and the well-equipped kitchen, despite being a bit tight in the mornings, provided complimentary snacks and hot drinks, which were a nice touch. One downside was the absence of a hairdryer due to it being taken by another guest, making it impossible for me to use it during my stay, and accessing the guesthouse can be tricky without a car or taxi since there's no direct footpath from the terminal.
